MESSAGE FROM CHRISTOPHER GRIFFIN

As you may know with the recent acquisition of USG by the Knauf Group, I am now serving as CEO for USG.

Today, I am excited to announce that Matthew Parrish has been appointed as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Knauf Insulation, Inc., also known as Knauf Insulation North America or KINA. We were lucky to have Matt join our organization in 2017 as VP of Residential and Light Commercial Sales. He has led several key initiatives in the organization from shaping our strategic planning to championing commercial excellence.

With over 29 years of experience in building materials, primarily in insulation and cement, Matt brings to KINA industry knowledge, a laser focus on the customer, and leadership qualities that demonstrate he is the right person, at the right time, for this critical role.

His history of cross-functional leadership, with extensive experience in organizational design, commercial excellence, integrated systems and driving technology-based solutions, has led to his record of success in sales leadership and business management. Parrish is known in the industry for his managerial courage, business acumen, innovation and results delivery.

USG and KINA will operate as separate entities. Matt will report to the KINA Board of Directors chaired by Manfred Grundke, general partner of Knauf Group and I will continue to serve as a member of that board.

As our valued customer I am confident that Matt will continue to look for ways to better serve you, help you grow your businesses, and make sure KINA is your trusted business partner.

Sincerely,

Christopher Griffin
CEO, USG
