Shelbyville, IN – November 29, 2022— Knauf Insulation, Inc., held its inaugural company-wide Week of Service Nov 14-20, which encouraged employees to give back in their local communities by performing volunteer work or donating food items.

More than 200 employees participated in the service week and Knauf donated a total of $40,000 to local food banks such as Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana and the McGregor Food Pantry. Employees collected and delivered more than 3,500 pounds in food donations. An estimated 3,100 families were supplied with groceries in local communities.

"We know transformational growth happens when we invest in our people and in the communities where we live and operate," said Matt Parrish. "Our drive to enhance lives by making the world comfortable supports everything we do through our Knauf Cares program."

The Knauf Cares program strives to support efforts focused on three key areas: access to food and shelter, education, and the youth of our communities. The program is employee-led and managed by representatives at each location in North America. This ensures that support is being provided in the areas most important to the employees. Employees are encouraged to volunteer throughout the year with paid volunteer time for all employees.
