The Knauf Group, a family-owned building materials company, announced today that motorists passing by Knauf's new Central Texas facility in the McGregor Industrial Park on S. Lone Star Parkway (SH 317) now see the 650,000 sq. ft. building nearly in its final form. Roof decking continues, and the general contractor expects the building will be dried-in by the end of July.

Knauf Insulation Inc., today announced the selection of Crossland Construction as the firm that will build their 650,000 square foot production facility in McGregor.  With a vast portfolio of projects built in Texas and around the Southwest, Crossland emerged as Knauf’s finalist, and construction on the facility will begin on the first of August.

The Knauf Group, a family-owned building materials company, celebrated the groundbreaking of its new 600,000 square feet state-of-the-art facility in the McGregor, Texas Industrial Park on Tuesday. Knauf Insulation is a leading global manufacturer of fiberglass insulation — delivering thermal and acoustical solutions for residential, commercial, industrial and OEM applications.

Knauf Insulation announces plans to expand North American operations in McGregor, Texas. The new 600,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, production facility will enable Knauf to better service our customers with quality products they prefer and trust. Together, we will be positioned to deliver more Knauf insulation in some of the largest growth markets in the country.  Ground breaking on the new facility will start in Q4 2021 with plans to be fully operational by Q4 2023.
