What are Knauf’s delivery hours for each facility?

Pick-up and drop-off appointment times are communicated through the carrier/driver's dispatch.

How do I check in when arriving at a Knauf plant or distribution center?

Each location has signage directing drivers through the check-in process, whether by phone call or physical check-in at a designated check-in door/window. Drivers must have a 9-digit TMS # or an associated Knauf reference # when checking in. Further directions will be provided through the carrier/driver's dispatch.

What personal protective equipment (PPE) is required on site?

Where are the driver restrooms and amenities?

Port-a-lets are available at each location for drivers.

How do I schedule a delivery or pick-up appointment?

Deliveries and pick-ups are scheduled through the carrier/driver's dispatch and communicated through Knauf's TMS.

What paperwork do I need for loading/unloading?

Any paperwork required for pick-up or delivery to Knauf will be provided by the carrier/driver's dispatch prior to the driver's arrival. For outbound deliveries (unloading at the consignee), all required documents will be provided to the driver at the time of load pick-up.

What is the procedure if my load is delayed or damaged?

Any delays in loading will be communicated by the Knauf Transportation Group to the carrier or driver’s dispatch. Drivers are encouraged to contact their dispatch for updates regarding loading delays. If any damages are identified before leaving a Knauf location, please coordinate with your dispatch to address the issue promptly.

Are there special instructions for oversized or mixed loads?

Any special instructions regarding loads will be communicated in advance of the carrier’s or driver’s arrival. If any concerns remain unaddressed upon arrival, please coordinate with your dispatch for further guidance.

How do I contact the logistics team after hours?

Carrier/driver dispatch will have the contact information.

Transportation Group on-call hours:

  • Monday–Friday: 1700–1900
  • Saturday–Sunday and Holidays: 0900–1900
What if I miss a live loads appointment?

In the event that a live load appointment is missed, the driver should reach out to their dispatch to update the Knauf Transportation Group. If you arrive late without rescheduling, we will do our best to get you loaded as soon as possible.
