We wanted to provide you with an update regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. We continue to monitor the outbreak and take actions to keep our team, our families, our customers and our communities safe.
As more and more state and local governments have mandated shelter in place or stay at home executive orders, we have made some adjustments to how we work right now. Our customer service team is currently working remotely and continues to seamlessly service customers. We are now asking that our sales reps across the country also stay at home even if they are located in a state or municipality that does not currently have a shelter in place or stay at home mandate in place. This is critical in helping slow the spread of the virus, flattening the curve and, most importantly, keeping you, your team and their families healthy and safe.
There are currently shelter in place or stay at home executive orders in many states and local municipalities across the country and we expect more. To date, KINA plants continue to operate. The construction industry is considered a critical business operation allowing our manufacturing operations to remain open. As such, your sales and customer service teams will work with you to get your products delivered when you want them and in the safest way possible.
We are working closely with our vendors to communicate their role in our operations and to date, we have not experienced any supply chain disruptions due to COVID-19. Should a potential supply disruption occur, we are developing plans to secure multiple sources for most of our raw materials.
Like you, we are closely monitoring government regulations, including shutdown or “shelter in place” orders that could potentially affect operations.
Although none of us knows how the next few weeks will unfold, we can manage through it by focusing on safely making the highest-quality products in our industry and being a good partner to our valued customers.
